Leslie Roth is an ongoing Artist in Residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, France (1992-present). Through her art, Roth expresses a celebration of the joy of life, its colors, flavors, and cultures. Her art reflects her identity as a female, friend, foodie, and Francophile. She is currently preparing for a solo show of new watercolor portraits and nudes, which will return to the languid and quirky style that initially earned her recognition in the art world in the ‘60s and ‘70s, when she worked as a celebrated illustrator and designer in Chicago and San Francisco. Also known for her teapots and ceramic sculpture, Roth now creates ceramic pieces on commission.
